Midi Devices not showing up after setting up Audio Midi Setu

We recently purchased a Dual 3Ghz Quad Core Xeon computer.

The computer came with osx 10.4.10 installed on it. (thinking this is the problem???)

Im trying to send beat clock to external midi device. (MPC)

I add a new device in the audio midi setup window and then go to enable midi beat clock, none of the devices i add in the audio midi set up show up.

I cannot choose any devices I have in my audio midi setup.


Please help me.

Try the prebind package. Do a search in the DUC for a link. .

This worked for me. .

The prebind package was done already on this computer.

Did you have same problem before you installed the prebind package?

Sort of. . I had my devices in audio/midi set up. . But every time I booted, a new midi I/O was created. . .
