Default S3 disconnects when moving attached mouse
Hi there,
I just tried using my S3 as an Eucon controller for PT for the first time.
What i experienced was that, as soon as i move the Mousse or use the keyboard that is connected directly to the controller, the connection to my workstation breakes down and the controller jumps back to the "start Mode" where it just showes the Avid logo on all OLEDs. Why is that?

Sounds like you are not quite up to the right firmware and versions...

Have you run the firmware upgrades? Are you running version 3.2 of EUCON with Pro Tools 11.2.1? Have you switched into the surface Studio Mode? Myself personally and at AES were not seeing this issue. It's very stable…

Thats a 4x Yes! ;-)
Its showing up fine in the Eucon control panel and also works as long as i use keyboard and mouse connected to the MacBook. But as soon i use the ones connected to the surface, it dies.

Sorry, my misunderstanding… the surface USB ports for keyboard and mouse do not currently work in EUCON DAW Mode. This will be coming in at some point int he future.

does this work now? did anyone try?

I don't dare to try, not to mess up my very fragile Eucon setup... ..again.

Keep your mouse and keyboard connected directly to the computer.

yes, I will... like I use my desktop light instead of the "Lamp ports"... and the HD interface output as headphone out instead of the S3 headphone amp...
