When the volume fader keeps slipping back...
Here's a stupid little glitch I seem to randomly run into a few times a year. It was happenning again last night, and I can't isolate why it happens. Sure one of the gurus know why...
You don't have any volume automation, and every time you go to adjust the volume on a track, it wants to start its travel at some random level, usually like 10dB below where you have it set. Anyone know what causes that? |

Re: When the volume fader keeps slipping back...
Hi,
Volume level automation is possible. On some strange way you've aleady done it. Or the song you've imported is already on automation. With your automation windows you can select you fade volume. Then insert on the track the AUTOMATION WRITE button and you can begin on 0dB I'm a dutchman, and my english is not very well, but I hope I helped a bit |

This happens ehen you adjust volume in the edit window. To avoid this use the mix window. It happens to me at random as well.

Re: When the volume fader keeps slipping back...
Thanks Weazel, but there's no automation... It's not that big of a deal and doesn't happen too often, but it's just odd how it's random. Glad to hear I'm not the only one Corey.
