11R not showing up under Hardware Setup

Hello all,

I received my 11R yesterday and love the sounds I've been getting from it.

I was able to install the drivers, upgrade the firmware and edit the parameters from within PT9. I connected the 11R to my 003R with two S/PDIF cables along with the 11R to my Mac Pro with the USB cable.

Under the System Preferences I have the 11R set to S/PDIF as the Digital Input/Clock Source.

I'm able to record from the 11R using S/PDIF as the I/O with no problems however under the "Hardware Setup" only the 003 shows as a peripheral and the SYNC S/PDIF light is NOT on. The 11R does show as a playback Engine though.

I'm thinking that I need to add the 11R as a peripheral but don't see instructions on how to do that.

Any thoughts on getting this to sync properly?

the sync light does not come ON, on the 003 when the 003 is the main interface. Do a test. Set the 11R to Internal and the 003 to SPDIF, then the sync light will come on.

The 11R will not be a playback engine because you can only have 1 playback engine at one time, which is the 003. Here are some tutorials about using the 003 and 11R together:

Yes, the SYNC light did come on when I set the 11R to Internal and the 003 to SPDIF.

My biggest concern/question is not seeing both the 003R and the 11R in the Hardware Setup Peripheral window as it does on your videos.

I was under the impression that I would see both in there.

Actually, after reading some other posts, I understand it better now. I guess with PT9, it won't show up in the Hardware Setup Peripheral window as it does on your videos. Instead, it will show in the System Preferences and that's where to make the adjustments.

On another note, since I already have PT9, is there anything that can be done with the version of PT that comes with the 11R?

I don't see 11RACK in Hardware Setup or in System Preferences.

Im on PT 8.05 with current drivers and Rack Firmware
