5.1 and DA7 HUI emulation mode problems

I've been using my da7 as a control surface with no problem until i upgraded to 5.1. now the da7 gets midi info from PT(when i move onscreen faders the da7 faders move) however, PT is not getting fader info from the DA7. anyone having success with 5.1 and the DA7? anyone experiencing the same sit.
