Quantize to Grid doesn't work when set to Clip/Markers

So I've come across a rather major issue for my workflow in Pro Tools 10 whilst I've been giving it a trial run to see if it is worth our company updating all our systems.

The bug is that Quantize to Grid does not appear to work when I select the grid to be Clips/Markers. In Pro Tools 9 it would work as expected by snapping the regions (clips) to the nearest region, in Pro Tools 10 the selected clips don't move at all, meaning I have to manually snap regions in place by going into Grid mode and going through each clip.

I'm using PT 10.2.0 on my MBP 2.7 GHZ i7, 8GB of Ram, OS 10.6.8

I haven't had a chance to see if the bug is also present in PTHD (HDX) as we just returned the rig we hired for a mixing job.

This is a bit of a deal breaker, as this feature can save us multiple hours per project when we are dealing with thousands of lines of dialog across multiple languages for dialog in videogames.

Has anyone come across this bug, and if so is there any fix/workaround.

In the grid pull down menu (in the window for grid and nudge value top of the edit screen) have you got it set to "follow main time scale"

Whether it is selected or not I get the same outcome, the selected regions (clips) do not snap to their closest clips/markers. If the Grid is set to anything else it appears to work.

I hope it's not something as obvious as them changing the names of regions to clips, and forgetting to update some string in the code somewhere

As it stands until this is fixed we won't be updating to pro tools 10 on the rest of our systems (about 12 of them), we may just be better waiting till version 11.

How are you choosing to Quantize? From the Event Window, or the Clip Menu?

From the Clip Menu (command+0), the same way I've been doing it for a few years with PT8 and PT9.

A quick bump on this as this feature is still broken in the latest version 10.3.2 and is urgently needed for my workflow.

Any hints on where to report this without having to pay for the privilege?

myca, did you ever find a solution/workaround for this? I have just encountered the same issue on 10.3.5 under Windows.
