Avid Mbox 3 and Focusrite ISA One Digital
Hey all,
I recently purchased and installed the optional digital card for my ISA One Preamp. I'm trying to use the s/pdif connection into an Avid Mbox 3 into Pro Tools. The problem I'm having is that I can't seem to get the ISA to work in anything but 44.1kHz. Which it seems to work fine in. I read through an article on the focusrite answerbase and I noticed that it said that you had to select the sample rate on the ISA and then change the mbox's clocking to s/pdif. However, when I turn on my ISA and press the 'clock select' button on the ADC panel- nothing happens. None of the sample rates light up or anything. I'm wondering, is there something wrong with my unit? Have I installed something incorrectly? Wondering if anyone else has had this problem... Like I said, it seems to work fine in 44.1kHz. My concern is that the first ISA One Analogue I bought had a glitch where the cue mix button didn't work. Thanks for your help! |

Not sure what the issue was, but taking the card out and re-installing it seems to have done the trick. I must've had a loose connection somewhere. Working great now! Guess you have to be smarter than the pre-amp... |
