Default Easy question about WAV samples...please

Do you know how can I save as WAVfile a sample I recorded into PT??
I mean PT just back it up as audioL and audioR: should I proceed on bounce it to disk?
Having it as WAV file, I'll be able to import it into some RTAS sampler...Any help?

Thanks.

In Audio Files, at the top drop down menu, select export selected. (Select your file you want as a wav 1st!)
export as WAV, stereo Interleaved (a stereo file with combined left and right.), and whatever bit depth you want. Bingo!

open ProTools and the session containing the file you want to export >
in the audio file window make sure to choose/highlight a stereo file/or use shift to choose both L and R >
click at the top bar saying 'Audio' >
in the drop down meny choose 'Export Selected As Files...' >
make your settings in the dialogue window and click Export..........

to export a mono file you just choose mono file of course...

ok, - the real name for it is "Audio Regions List" and you'll find on the right hand side of your edit window in PT. If you don't see it there, just click on the double-arrow symbol in the bottom right hand corner. (you may want to take a look at p.35 in the PT reference guide of your help menu in PT - or you may have to resort to the trick of the old folks: RTFM - read the 'fantastic' manual!)

anyway, I hope this is what you're looking for...

cheers

Since there are many copies of audio files in the "Audio Regions List" (and they represent the "alteratinos-change" you made on'em...), how can I pick the right file and so export it as WAV??
I mean how can I pick up the kick I cut up perfectly the way I needed (for example) and not the whole sample or wrong parts?!
Is there a way 2 listen to'em?

Thanks.

hi hed, - a simple way to do it: when you have nailed your perfect kick region, or whatever, doubleclick on it in the edit window, then give it a name you will remember and recognize in the Audio Regions List.

you can monitor your audio regions directly by option+clicking on them in the regions list.

maybe watch som videos and learn to keep your sessions tidy...
