Default Silly Question

Hey all,

I recently bought a modified 002r to replace my stock 002r, and now I want to sell the stock unit. I don't understand how the software ownership thing works. I didn't change anything else about my setup, just the hardware. when selling my 002r, can I offer the software that came with it, or would that mean that I'm no longer entitled to use it? Sorry, this is probably a stupid question, but I needs to know. Thanks,

C

I'm pretty sure you have to do a transfer of ownership. While the 002R can be used with other audio software, I'm not sure that you can get the drivers to do it without doing the Transfer. Of course, who would want an 002R and not run ProTools?

The PT license usually attaches to the hardware. Did the modded 002 not ship with PT? If not, then you should really purchase a new license.

If I did a transfer of ownership, wouldn't that leave me without Pro Tools software?
