Default Delay Compensation in "Playback Engine"?

Hey Guys,

I was watching the AVID video "Pro Tools 11 - The New Standard for Audio Production" and noticed in the video that the Playback Engine has the "Delay Compensation Engine" option available (see "PT 11 Playback Engine Pic 1").

But on my system there is no "Delay Compensation Engine" option (see "PT 11 Playback Engine Pic 2").

Is this option only available to HD users?

I went through the manual but didn't see any info regarding this. Just getting into PT 11 so I'm not used to some of the changes from PT 10.

Many thanks!

MacBook Pro 15-inch with Retina display (Early 2013), 2.7 GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, 16GB SDRAM, 512GB SSD, Mountain Lion (10.8.4), Pro Tools 10 (10.3.7), Pro Tools 11 (11.0.1), Apogee Duet 2.

Thanks my friend!

Yes, I saw this in the manual as well!

Kinda confusing that it's shown in the AVID presentation video, yet it's been removed from the "final release"?!?

Moving on...

Agreed. The video was probably made with a pre-release version.

Good riddance. I see no reason to have the Off/Short/Long/Maximum setting. Much better if it scales to the longest delay automatically. I'll just monitor in the mix window, and keep my eye out for red...

...Which hasn't happened yet. AAX has performed much better than RTAS, in everything I've done. We'll see when Izotope Ozone gets ported over - the maximizer with lookahead and MBIT+ dither really took a bite out of CPU in Pro Tools 10.
