You are sort of hosed by the 192 being digital only. Your preamps(the Avalon and the 16 in the C24) are all analog, so you need a way to get analog into Pro Tools. I would sell the 192 digital and buy the analog version, or the newer HD IO 16x16. Once you have the correct combination of gear(and the cable package that goes with the C24), its signal routing 101

the reply above is absolutely correct in that.
You do not have any analog inputs or outputs. The digital i/o is unnecessary in your rig at this time.
Swap it for a analog 192 or buy a 192 ANALOG with 16 ins 8 outs.
Or if you are trying to save some cash two 96i/o 8ins/outs on each of them. not the 8in and 2 out model
High quality cables really make a difference so dont cheap out on those.
It is often the biggest improvement a studio can make and its very affordable no $49.99 cables
The digidesign cables are a good trade off of quality vs cost if bought used.

You are probably confused because you did not understand the digital converter wont work with analog .
But once you have what you need its no different than connecting a guitar to a amplifier . Output goes to input and vice versa
