12.8.2 is announced.

Someone already has it on his account? Not me.

Looks promising in terms of the fix list. Planning to shift up from 12.8.1, but want to see what you guys make of it first. My hurry to go to 12.8.1 turned out to be foolish!

If they finally fixed the sustain issue with midi merge enabled, that is a pretty big deal for me....though I wouldn't classify that as a new feature, but as a bug that's been around for years. Hopefully thats fixed!

This is a good one for sure.

And since changing versions is as simple as running an installer, there's no harm in trying it out ASAP.

Definitely another good ‘un. A few little niggles but generally very solid with some welcome MIDI enhancements.

Did anyone else notice that the "known issues" section of the current read me doc has grown to 18 pages long(for reference Premier Pro's known issues is a single page)! That is truly unbelievable.

In recent years, Avid has become far more transparent about known issues than most other developers. I'd far rather know about problems than learning about them the hard way.
