...softube still brings out new plugins like tubetech MKII as DSP version..
nothing seems to die here , just few plug ins doesnt fit the dsp architecture
(like in Console1).

Their website still states :
"All Softube plug-ins except Modular, TSAR-1 Reverb, TSAR-1R Reverb, Mutronics Mutator, Heartbeat, Console 1,
Fix Flanger of the Fix Flanger and Doubler, Drawmer 1973 Multi-Band Compressor,
Drawmer S73 Intelligent Master Processor and Tape can be run on AAX DSP hardware."

You might want to double check that.

They are not AAX-DSP.

I've had official word from Softube that AAX-DSP development is over.

Stefan.

Story I've heard from Softube is all future plugins are going to Console1 and since Console1 isn't supported by AAX-DSP, future plugins aren't going to be AAX-DSP (including this Mk2 plugin). That's why it's ending.

They want to get more people on the Console1 platform (and supposedly there's some issue with making the Console1 AAX-DSP)

Good to know. Now there’s another developer to not support. No DSP support, and I know that it really doesn’t matter to them, no customer here. Oh well.

Yah you might be right.

It certainly has nowhere near the amount of developers my TDM system had in the 90s!

AAX-DSP development is pretty much dead in the water. Options are far too limited. Only reason I would upgrade from HD Native to HDX is because of the latency figures the tracking.
