Any reason to move up the PT 12 software chain?
Hi.. currently using PT 12.4 on a perpetual EDU purchase in 2015. Pretty good system, using all the Avid optimizations, bios tweaks and driver updates. I'm running about 25% CPU on major projects but I still get occasional CPU spikes and 9073 errors. I have no interest in paying yearly subscriptions. However, if PT Studio is significantly better than 12.4 and offers far more flexibility, I'm open to upgrading using a perpetual license offer in My Accounts.
Would any of you suggest doing this? Thanks Win 11 Pro, Asus/Ryzen 3600, 32Gb Ram, 3 SSDs separating OS, Audio and Libraries. Last edited by jonwb; 12-30-2023 at 08:22 AM. |
