Default Pro Tools Upgrade Problem - 10.3.5, 10.3.6, 11.0.1

Hi all, first post here,

Having some problems upgrading to PT 11 -
I was using 10.3.5 and decided to upgrade to 11.0.1. I did a clean uninstall, then downloaded and installed new drivers for 11.0.1, but it crashed immediately upon opening. So, I uninstalled all of that and then installed 10.3.6 to see if I could go from there to 11.0.1 more easily, but now that wont open either. Bit stuck - any suggestions/ideas..

Hi, sorry - thought it would come up automatically.

MacBook Pro 2009, OSX 10.6.8, 003 Console.

Update - Reinstalled 10.3.5 and that works OK.
10.3.6 - Pro Tools Loads, but the 003 pro tools controls do not work (faders, pan etc).
11.0.1 - Pro Tools crashes immediately upon opening.

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex

You need OSX 10.8.2/3/4 for PT11 to run. Thats why it crash when trying to open it in 10.6.8.

However, PT's 10.3.6 should still work in your 10.6.8-1 OS
