003 causing midi ghost notes
So I posted some of this information in a different thread but I titled it wrong so I was hoping with a proper title I might find some answers from you intelligent DUC'ers out there.... so whenever I have an instrument track with either a Structure, Vacuum, Xpand2, or DB-33 VI plugin on it and I hit any button on my 003 that changes ANY parameter in PT, I get a ghost note that plays and won't stop until I do an "all midi notes off" command. Then when I do this, the 4th fader (and only the 4th) on my 003 goes to -infinity on the board no matter how many tracks I'm running. Any thoughts? I have an unsupported firewire interface that I found out about after I built my rig, but would this cause this problem?
I am also experiencing a problem with my second channel on my 003, when I put it in record ready to monitor a signal, there is an interference signal present that puts the meter about 70% of the way up and I can't trace it down. This happens whether or not I have something plugged in to channel 2. As long as I have the input set to Interface 2 and output whatever, it gives me this problem. Could this also be linked to firewire interface? Sandra is below.... I'm running PT 8.0.3/4b drivers on Win7 x64 Home Premium SiSoftware Sandra Computer Model : System manufacturer System Product Name Workgroup : WORKGROUP Host Name : UpperRoomStudio User : Jon Processor Model : AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor Speed : 3.21GHz Cores per Processor : 6 Unit(s) Threads per Core : 1 Unit(s) Type : Six-Core Integrated Data Cache : 6x 64kB, Synchronous, Write-Back, 2-way, Exclusive, 64 byte line size L2 On-board Cache : 6x 512kB, ECC, Synchronous, Write-Back, 16-way, Exclusive, 64 byte line size L3 On-board Cache : 6MB, ECC, Synchronous, Write-Back, 48-way, 64 byte line size, 6 threads sharing Computer Mainboard : Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 BIOS : AMI 1308 05/31/2010 Bus(es) : ISA X-Bus PCI PCIe USB FireWire/1394 Multi-Processor (MP) Support : No Multi-Processor Advanced PIC (APIC) : No Total Memory : 7.75GB DIMM DDR3 Chipset Model : ASUS RS780 Host Bridge Alternate Front Side Bus Speed : 2x 1.8GHz (3.58GHz) Total Memory : 128MB Shared Memory : 368MB Memory Bus Speed : 2x 597MHz (1.2GHz) Chipset Model : AMD F10h Athlon 64/Opteron/Sempron HT Hub Front Side Bus Speed : 2x 1.8GHz (3.58GHz) Total Memory : 8GB DIMM DDR3 Memory Bus Speed : 2x 597MHz (1.2GHz) Memory Module(s) Memory Module : 0A PartNum0 2GB DIMM PC10600U Memory Module : 0A PartNum1 2GB DIMM PC10600U Memory Module : 0A PartNum2 2GB DIMM PC10600U Memory Module : 0A PartNum3 2GB DIMM PC10600U Video System Video Adapter : ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series (SM5.0 850MHz, 1GB DDR5 4x1.2GHz, PCIe 2.00 x16) Video Adapter : ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series (SM5.0 850MHz, 1GB DDR5 4x1.2GHz, PCIe 2.00 x16) Video Adapter : ATI Radeon HD 4250 (SM4.1 700MHz, 384MB 2x667MHz, PCI) Graphics Processor Adapter : ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series (1012MB 4x1.2GHz) Adapter : ATI Radeon HD 4250 (364.5MB 2x667MHz) Storage Devices Seagate ST3500418AS (500.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, NCQ, 16MB Cache) : 466GB (D:) Seagate ST3500418AS (500.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, NCQ, 16MB Cache) : 466GB (C:) Optiarc DVD RW AD-7260S (SATA150, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 2MB Cache) : N/A (E:) Logical Storage Devices System Reserved : 100MB (NTFS) Hard Disk (C:) : 466GB (NTFS) @ Seagate ST3500418AS (500.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, NCQ, 16MB Cache) Hard Disk (D:) : 466GB (NTFS) @ Seagate ST3500418AS (500.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, NCQ, 16MB Cache) Optical Drive (E:) : N/A @ Optiarc DVD RW AD-7260S (SATA150, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 2MB Cache) Peripherals LPC Hub Controller 1 : ATI (AMD) IXP SB600 SMBUS Controller LPC Hub Controller 2 : ASUS SB700 LPC host controller LPC Legacy Controller 1 : T2 87-21 Audio Device : ASUS IXP SB600 High Definition Audio Controller Audio Codec : Realtek Semiconductor 0892h Audio Device : ASUS RS880 Audio Device [Radeon HD 4200] Audio Codec : ATI (AMD) 791Ah Serial Port(s) : 1 Disk Controller : ASUS SB700 SATA Controller [IDE mode] Disk Controller : ASUS SB700 IDE Disk Controller : ASUS PATA IDE Host Controller USB Controller 1 : ASUS SB700 USB OHCI0 Controller USB Controller 2 : ASUS SB700 USB EHCI Controller USB Controller 3 : ASUS SB700 USB OHCI0 Controller USB Controller 4 : ASUS SB700 USB EHCI Controller USB Controller 5 : ASUS SB700 USB OHCI2 Controller USB Controller 6 : ASUS SB700 USB OHCI0 Controller USB Controller 7 : ASUS SB700 USB EHCI Controller USB Controller 8 : ASUS uPD720200 USB 3.0 Controller FireWire/1394 Controller 1 : ASUS VT6315 Series Firewire Controller Printers and Faxes Printer : Microsoft XPS Document Writer (600x600, Colour) Fax : Microsoft Shared Fax Driver (200x200) Peripherals Media Player : LEXAR JUMPDRIVE (491.48MB) Network Services Power Management Mains (AC) Line Status : On-Line Operating System Windows System : Microsoft Windows 7 Home 6.01.7600 Platform Compliance : x64 Windows Experience Index Current System : 5.9 |
