Trouble installing pro tools
I just bought pro tools. It's a bundle. I bought the mbox mini.
Here's my problem. I have windows xp. I was installing pro tools and got to the end of the installing process and my computer froze. Nothing would let me reboot the computer, so, I took the plug out and rebooted the computer. I went to the control panel to remove what was installed. I unsubscribed all the software except for one item. When I try to remove it, a wizard banner comes up and tells me that pro tools is already installed on my system. I'm in a loop and can't get out of it. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem? Thank you Jamesgug |

Re: Trouble installing pro tools
You can try either the Uninstall Utility or the Uninstall Fix, which will hopefully get around the uninstall issue.
You should also check the Help Us Help You and General Troubleshooting threads to make sure your system is compatible and configured properly before reinstalling. There's info in those threads on what we need to know should you run into further problems. |
