Weird issues with HDX 12.2.1

I just saw this today –

* Plugins on auxes stop passing audio (deactivating or clearing insert slot fixes it, bypassing does not)
* Right channel missing on master buss

Rebooting and/or restarting PT helps, until it happens again...

On HDX 12.2.1, OS X 10.9.5, Omni, EuCon (S3).

Only thing I can think of is that it's a hot day here...

using templates or in existing sessions?
Tried testing on a new session build?

I lost solo safe from templates...re-assigning and re-saving seems to have worked.

I'm looking into Eucon install conflict with C|24 firmware...
This solo-safe issue here surfaced after the iPad Avid/Eucon install.

Existing sessions. Seems to have only happened since I upgraded to 12.2.1. Sometimes deactivating and reactivating the send fixes it, sometimes not. DigiTest checks out OK.

I'm getting beach balls with 12.2.1.
Random, in the middle of anywhere while doing anything. Up comes the beach ball, C24 loses the connection and the machine freezes. Force quit pro tools and it stays up there, beach ball and all!!! Won't go away. Have to reboot.
Mac Pro Mountain Lion Pro Tools HDX 32 gigs RAM All SSD drives.
Isn't regular. Some days no crash, some days many.
Some sessions have pretty huge track count - 100+
I'll try to see what it could be. Anyone else experiencing this?
Pretty much got rid of the 9172's. Now this!

In fairness it *looks* like my issue was due a beta version of a plugin I was testing. So not to do with Avid at all.
