Default External clock w/ 3 interfaces

Hopefully a simple question for you guys, when connecting my isochrone ocx to my 3 192s, can I set up a sync loop like with the internal clocking or do I use separate outs from the ocx to each ext clock in on each interface? Im hoping I can daisychain but im not sure how the loop would work since theres no in on the ocx. Thanks!

you loop the 192s
you drive the first 192 from the ocx

I think the best method to clock your interfaces would be to "Star Clock" them with the ocx. Connect one WC output from the ocx to each WC input on each interface.

In Session Setup Page, set each interface to clock to "Ext WC" with the correct sample rate, then set the Sync IO if you're using one to Ext WC or Vid ref.

This is the most stable and reliable Clocking method.

Of course sample rate changes will need to be made from the ocx and not PT anymore, as the ocx has now become the "Master Clock," not the individual interfaces.

Hope this helps!

Star works but I've had problems with it in the past
Loop is much more reliable
