HDx card to Pro Tools
So how long can the digilink cable be from the HD x card to the Pro Tools card?

Great to see you on the DUC! The current longest Digi Link cable is 100', which usually doesn't work well with current HOW. We have made some compromises though. Our Broadcast/Campus Mix/Internet feed is made from a Control 24 attached to the Venue by the HDx option. We mix everything within ProTools and then output from the back of the Stage Rack, no other Digi interfaces needed. Darth and I would be glad to walk you through it, as Family Community Church is always attending conferences at Saddleback. There's also a 200' DigiLink cable available, which was created specifically for VENUE applications.

No problem! One other note: the 200' cable is currently available through VENUE dealers. It's not on our web store quite yet.

will the 200 footer ever be an option for regular HD systems?
could be useful in some places w/ CMRs to Edit Bays.

200' DigiLink cables are available from Sweetwater, as they're both a Pro Tools and VENUE dealer.
** NOTE: the 200' cable only supports sample rates up to 48 kHz.
