Default Headphone / Monitor Delay

Now that our church has moved to a much larger facility, the delay between the stage and mix position has become large (over 100 feet). The control surface has a button labeled "delay" between the Monitor and Headphone volume knobs. However, it does not activate nor change the function of the knobs. Please advise how to adjust headphone/monitor delay.

Thanks in advance,
darth

Hi Darth,

This feature has an "interlock" mechanism to prevent unwanted changes.

1. Press and hold the Delay button.
2. Turn the main Select Knob in the center section - the one that normally scrolls through Snapshots.

If you just turn it, it adjusts in fine mode. If you press the knob and turn at the same time, it adjusts in coarse mode.

Also, the new 2.0 software adds the delay value to the Options:Busses screen so you can just type it in.

Also new in 2.0 is the ability to toggle the delay on/of by pressing the delay button or using the on screen control. In version 1.x the only way to turn the delay off is to explicitly set the time to 0.

Sheldon and Matt:

Thanks guys...sorry I could not find the solution on page 105 in the manual. Don't know how I missed the search in the PDF.
