MIDI Program change to recall Snapshot?
Hey Guys,
I've currently got a demo Profile system and I'm trying to figure out how to integrate it into our show. Currently our XL-4 takes cues from a MIDI program change from our master control system (LCS). I'm told this will work with profile but I can't seem to figure out how to go about doing it right now. Just to be clear, each snapshot is associated with a MIDI note, this isn't setup as a "next" type system. Sometimes we need to skip around a bit. I found "Snapshots respond to Channel" in the options/snapshots screen but after I set that I don't see a good way to tell it which snapshot is which number (unless snapshot 1=1, 4=4, 25=25, and so on). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jeff |

Re: MIDI Program change to recall Snapshot?
Check pg. 193 in the D-Show 2.0 manual, it will give you the break down of which bank select message and program change message correspond to which snapshot number.

Re: MIDI Program change to recall Snapshot?
Thanks Erik, It sounds like I did it right then, I'll just have to wait till tomorrow to double check my program when I can hook both systems together.
