Help with Mbox error
Im using the original Mbox with Pro Tools LE 7.4. Lately, when Pro Tools starts up and it gets to the "Loading DAE" part, it seems to take forever to load. When I attempt to record an instrument or play back a previously recorded track, I get the error "Problem detected with audio clock. Check that your clock source and sample rate are correct." I checked the sample rate, which is always 48Khz for my sessions and my clock source is the Mbox. I am unable to get any monitoring within Pro Tools as well. I tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling Pro Tools and the Mbox drivers and it still doesnt work. I tried a new USB cable but it didn't help, I even tried it on another computer and had the same problem. Is there something I can do to fix this or did my Mbox finally die?

Re: Help with Mbox error
You should start with the steps in the Win XP/ Pro Tools 6.x/7.x General Troubleshooting thread and post specific info on your system per the info on that thread if you're unable to resolve the problem.
You may want to look at the Help us help you thread as well. |
