Default MIXER SKINS?

ANY mixer or vip skins for pro tools that you know of guys?

I doubt you'll ever see that, which is just as well, and just my opinion. There's Windows Media Player for that.

all you would have to do to change them is find the current skin, put it into a art program and paint it differently and save it, then it should change.

or at least thats how i changed my trillian skin.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">For some reason, I don't think that Protools is "Skinned". Everything just seems to be assigned a color. Using a Bitmap would probably slow down the performance and not be optimal at all. I think it would be nice to be able to make it look like a Neve or SSL console... but that's more of something that Cubase or some other flashy program would do. Digi is concerned mainly with speed and functionality, not looks (which is pretty apparent because cakewalk 3.0 looked about as pretty as PT).

SKINS are not just about looks,its more than that, a lot more.
it will give you the freedom of features among a lot of other things.some of us know this specially if we use other multitracks.
my main question wasn't about cosmetics,but about features in general.but thanks for the replies i was afraid there wouldn't be any anyways.
