Default Can you install Pro Tools 8 & 9 simultaneously?

is it possible to install pro tools 8 and 9 at that same time on Mac? I ask because i want to install Pro Tools 9 on the computer at the studio I work at but when I'm not there I want them to still be able to use their Pro Tools 8 with their 002. Otherwise they wont be able to run Pro Tools at all with out my iLok.

Actually, it seems possible if you have a dual boot rig, like mine... I run PT8 HD currently on a 10.5 drive that I pulled from my G5 when I upped to a MacPro, which came loaded with 10.6. Now I set that rig to boot to the 10.5 drive, so I'm planning to upgrade the 10.6 drive to PT9. He'll, Ive even got 7.3 running on an old Tiger 10.4 drive, just in case. Now I haven't looked at the possibility that one may have to surrender the PT8 HD license, but I don't see a reason why Avid would do that since we are in a transition period now and I've never run into that in the past.

Dual boot always works - also just bring your own small firewire boot drive is common.
