Default Format Extended or Extended Journaled for PT6.2.3?

How should I format my drives for PT 6.2.3? Mac OS Extended or Mac OS Extended Journaled? And does the same format apply to SCSI, SATA and Firewire?

I recall reading/hearing from Digi that journaling is a no-no with Pro Tools hard disks. I've also read that it can wreak havoc with dual boot systems when going back to OS 9 (have yet to confirm this - and don't want to risk confirming it ). I would say format OS extended without journaling regardless of interface.

I have the system partition journaled and all the other partitions unjournaled.
Works great.

It seems okay to journal the startup disk (or partition), but do not journal your audio drives, it drags down the read/write times significantly.

Yes, journaling shoudl work regardless of connection type...it's a UNIX device for recovering from a disaster.
