For starters you will need a second, either FW or internal 7200 RPM HD for audio.
USB drives don't cut it. For a more detailed idea you should post a Sandra report.

Same answer as your other thread. No.

The requirements for Essential are a little lighter but the 6150 chipset is a deal breaker with PT.

Any version of PT

Thats basically what I'm running (PT ess. 8.0.3). Except I've got DDR2 and cpu is AMD x2 240, ati chipset. Care to elaborate why not? You mention another thread, link? Thank you :)

Aaahh, OK I see

Sunburst79 wants you to belive that unless your computer costs megabuck$ it wont be any good. The only hardware requirement for PT m-powered is a minimum of 1GB or RAM and a computer screen that can do a minimum resolution of 1024x768. That's about any computer made in the past 3-4 years. $600 is more than enough to get a working system.

No, actually Sunburst79 wants you to believe that compatibility is important - because it is.

The hardware requirements for M-Powered are the same for LE and they are very specific. Here's a link with information on compatibility for Vista (with a link to XP, if you prefer). Win7 is likely the same requirements as Vista, but has not been fully qualified yet:
