7.2 missing files / relinking / HELP !!!

Hi,

I don't know if that has been covered in another post but PT is "loosing" pathes to soundfiles Big Time !
I'm working on a project with a lot of Sfx imported into the session : They all play fine until I close the session....If I open it again, I get the dialog about missing files and relinking....
It's a real drag when you have nearly 100 hundred files to manually commit (automatically doesn't find them) !
One workaround I found is to apply a consolodiate around the region to make sure it's not going loose... (

Please note this only applies to files IMPORTED ! If I record a voice-over : No Problem !!!

I hope a fix is coming soon.

Hi,

There seems to be a problem with inported audio files and drag and drop files in 7.2!

I've been having lots of problems getting files into PT! Check this post here.....

unfortunately, this is a known problem.

solution? don't work at all and find a nice woman with lots of money. ...and then introduce me to her sister.

Yes, that would be using MTools !
I have to manually relink everytime....I do hope Digi's coming with a fix REAL SOON !!!

Same problem here, I use Soundminer and Protools 7.1 cs9. The strange thing is not all the time.... by the way Aquarius, try Soundminer, it's very convenient and so much better than mtools.

Does Soundminer use the same CD links index as MTools ?
I don't want to convert all my files again...
