Default Can´t exchange aiff files with avid ???

We have recently upgraded from our Session 8 to the Digi 001 and Pro Tools LE. We have two offline editing systems wich we need to exchange audio with. On the system from Discreet, (Edit 6.0), it imports .wav and .aif files created with the bounce command perfectly. On our older system, Avid ver 7.8, it does not import our aif files, it says it has a ¨bad chunk¨. The strange thing is: the Avid system imports aiff files generated by the Edit system, it only doesn´t work with aiff files generated from Pro Tools. Any help ????

-I think this was fixed with Pro Tools 5.1.1...what version are you using?

If currently using PT LE 5.1:

There are two workarounds for this problem:
1) Import the bounced files back into the Pro Tools session before taking them to the Avid system. This will correct the "bad chunk" error.
2) Bounce using "Avid Compatibility Mode" enabled in the Preferences dialog, then place the bounced files directly in the OMFI Media Files folder of the Avid system you're working with rather than using the Avid import dialog.
The advantage of this method is that OMF information will be added to the bounced file which will then show up in the Avid bin. e.g., the in and out points of the bounce and the name of the session that was bounced will be displayed in the bin.
