Wrong Codec? Cant Play tracks after bouncing
I can record and manipulate tracks just fine in the program but after I bounce to disk I cant get them to play on Windows Media Player, iTunes, nothing. They all say the track is not in the right format or an incorrect codec was used to decrypt the file. Cant figure out a way to change or manipulate "codecs" or "encoders" within pro tools. Is it my computer, something wrong in pro-tools such as a setting, or are my players simply not working? I try converting the file types after bounce, and I tried bouncing in different formats but I always get the same message when I go to play the track.

Re: Wrong Codec? Cant Play tracks after bouncing
Could do with some system info like Windows version, etc. Also what format are you bouncing to - wav or mp3?

Re: Wrong Codec? Cant Play tracks after bouncing
While you're at it, what sample rate/bit depth?
