Default Dell 518 with Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600?

I am curious if anyone is running a system from Dell with Q6600 quad processor and pro tools successfully? The basic specs are listed below.

Bill,

I was wondering the same thing as well. I am assuming that you are looking at the warehouse store offer? The price is good, especially as it includes a 2 year warranty.

I understand that G33 isn't a supported chipset, but have read some success stories in this board. Has anyone had any recent success with this?

Worst case scenario, you could go ahead and order it - if it doesn't work out, you could return it to the store.
