opening .sd (Sound designed) files
Hello - I have some old .sd and .sd2 Sound designer files that I need to convert. I've tried everything: Handbrake, MPEG4 Streamclip, Adobe Media Encoder and a ProTools trial. I believe that SD was part of Avid. I have two Macs (2020, M1) and my trusty MBP 2009. Is there an old version of Sound Designer that would run on the latter. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Re: opening .sd (Sound designed) files
You should have just created this thread and waited for people to respond.
Bumping a bunch of older threads with the same post gets very confusing and makes it hard to keep track of things. Hopefully a mod will clean it up/merge it for you and hopefully someone can help you with your issue. FYI - there was a good article on PT Expert that addressed recovering old SDII files and sessions that used that format. Had a few options. Might be worth reading.
