OT:lost default presets w/ McDSP,BF..how restore?

I was trying to save a custom preset for one of my eqs. Saved it..
so when it was time to pull up a preset, it only had my saved preset...lost all the default ones.

I then noticed, I lost all my Analog Channel presets...
and my BombFactory one (1176)..

Can anybody tell me how to restore to the originals, without having to reinstall?

I put an email into McDSP a couple of days ago, but heard nothing back yet.

You can reinstall each plugin w/o reinstalling ptle.
I also perioducally back up (nightly) my presets... they are in the c:\pf\cf\digi\ and c:\pf\digi under plugin presets...

try this:

with a plug-in window open, click on the up/down arrow next to the preset name then select Set Root Settings Folder... from the menu.

navigate to system drive:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-In Settings\ and click Use Current Folder

if they're not there, check system drive:\Program Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-In Settings\

if you can't find 'em at either, i'm not sure where else to look as i'm a user of the other os(x)...

applying those folder settings did not work...

I noticed all the plugins that have presets set like that do not come up...
(filterbank, analog channel, bombfactory 1176,etc..)

I will research more.
