Default Change one insert on a track - change all tracks with same insert

How is this done? I've tried CTRL-OPT and I can drag and drop the same insert, but I haven't found a way to change an inserts settings on one track and have the same settings apply to the same insert on different tracks.

have you tried selecting the tracks you want this to happen to and add SHIFT to the button combo?

don't know if it will work

group the track then look into the attributes area of the groups dialog box and choose the insert slot you want linked.

I'm pretty sure it only works on identical plug ins. at least that would make sense. . but Ive never tried with say different eq's I just use the same plug in in the same insert slot and changing one instantiation changes all the channels.

Do as above, or, Shift+Command+C to copy settings from one plugin, and Shift+Command+V to paste into the next. Plugin windows must be open to copy/paste.

If the plug in insert slot is also grouped then any change or adjustment to one parameter automatically changes the same parameter on all other tracks in the group with the same plug in inserted in the linked slot.

SO theres is no need to copy and paste the setting. Just adjust one channel's eq or whatever and all grouped/linked channels adjust also.

EDIT>>> Right you said "as above OR" . . . sorry, I missed the "OR" part..

Yeah copy and past is useful for plug in settings also!!
