Default Bless the engineer

Just read the "suck plug-in" thread and it made me think for a moment of the plight of the engineer. I'm a performing musician with an interest in recording. thanks to the 001 I'm hard at work on a CD with the help of a TDM studio. Now, I have a real hard time spending six hours in a studio tweaking my own stuff. How anyone can sit there and listen to bad guitar players playing with the amp on 12, put up with various hangers on, listen to some dweeb ask to bring his part up in the mix for the tenth time, etc, etc, is beyond me. It's got to be as bad or worse than listening to all the bad guitar players all day at a Guitar Center. I know from personal experience that even top engineers have to put up with complete idiots and keep their cool. So from myself and other like mined musicans, a heartfelt thanks and a pat on the back for those who have choosen to spend their time helping musicans.

After owning the 001, I toatally realize what is involved in making a decent recording. There is alot to learn especially in the mixing stage. I track everything at home then bring session into tdm system with a real engineer. I am almost at the point where I can do it myself but it is always good to work with other people.
