Default Re: Prognosis for PT HD Native and new Mac Pro?

You normally cannot downgrade any Mac to an older OS X release than it came installed with.
I took a 2013 Mac Pro that came with 10.10, and downgraded it to 10.9. There was a minor screen glitch that caused me to power cycle one monitor on reboot, but besides that it was fine. That said, 10.10 is better in every way than 10.9 and super stable for Pro Tools. My hope is that current 2013 Mac Pros can easily be downgraded from 10.11 to 10.10. Haven't tried that.
