Re: Memory leak with EuControl on Win7 x64
Quote:
We have the same problem on Windows 7 (64 bit) with EuControl 2.5.7. On our project memory usage climbs at the rate of 1 Gigabyte per hour. If I forget to interrupt the session and reboot after 3 hours max, I will get a crash in the middle of a live performance. I like my Avids products but I need a fix for this, and I must say I am a bit shocked to read here how old this problem is (and still unsolved). Regards, Mikael |

Re: Memory leak with EuControl on Win7 x64
Hello Support,
any news on this issue? Still investigating? Apart from a friendly message in the Avid supporrt system that my memory leak related cases are being automatically closed due to inactivity, I haven't heard anything really constructive about this problem.... Regards, Mikael |

As for the 'automatically closed' message - don't worry, you'll still get a notice when an update becomes available. Our system will automatically close a case after about 2 weeks if there's been no activity on it - this is to prevent cases from remaining open that have been resolved, but the customer hasn't indicated it as such, as well as keeping 'the numbers' as far as active, pending and closed cases relatively accurate. |
