Yeah, I don't understand why regular folders *don't* work this way! I mean, the way it is now, you've got this silly wasted fader just sitting there at half-travel doing nothing other than taking up space on the control surface. If it had VCA functionality (level/mute/solo) one could actually use it for something other than just hiding/showing.

Huge +1 for the basic folder to have VCA functionality.

I don't want/need aux-routing capability in my setup, so I've currently got a separate VCA for each folder track. It's seems unnecessarily messy... It would be hugely helpful to be able to designate the basic folder as a VCA for the tracks contained within
