Thanks for responding Chris. I did'nt explain my situation when i first posted the thread. Yes I do want to mix down thru my Mackie console. I have eight tracks recorded in Pro Tools, and am having a problem assigning each track to an individual output on the Firewire 410 1-8. I love the feel and sound of my Mackie console, it has'nt failed me yet, even when I was all analog. Now I'm combining
the two analog and digital.
Could you or anyone reading this please help. Thanks again. Illyphilly.

Ok, I'll give it a shot. I am looking at the edit window if it matters. Make sure that you have the i/o section showing by going view>edit window>I/O. Next, go to setup>I/O and click default.

If you go to each of your 8 tracks, under the i/o column you should have (from top to bottom): 2 grey rectangle boxes, then 2 black boxes for volume and panning and then a fader box. The top grey box is input and the one below it is for output. Click the output box and you should be able to go to interface> then choose from either stereo outs or each out as a mono.
