Default Is the AVP-1 vocal process worth it with DIGI-002

I have the AVP-1 vocal processor, I have use it as an insert and live and the sound is not really what I want, maybe I just don't have enough expereince with sound and with the machine itself.
Maybe one of you guys can give the right advice, if to get rid of it and sell it on e-bay and use the money to buy something better for my vocals,, or keep and make it worth. Having WAVES and some other plugins maybe its better to sell it?.

Thanks Guys.
