Feature wishlist for PT 5.1.1/5.2

Hi,

We often have to make some notes about tracks and it would be really handy to have something like a 'text track' in which you can write notes and put that in regions in the timeline. I haven't found a feature that compares to this in PT 5.1 yet. So.

When grouping faders, the little Group button for each grouped channel (in the mix window) is outlined in a color.

I'd like to see either the fader itself, or the whole channel, or at least the channel label become that color - it would be easier to see the groups that way. That one little box with the colored outline is hard to find during those late-night sessions.

i'd like to see the midi faders with reverb and chorus knobs like the other sequencers do.

right now it's a real pain having to go to the front panel of the synths to add reverb or chorus,especialy when you have 11 synths.

Waveform graphics on different tracks capable of being overlayed for comparison and surgical editing. Example: Region in track one pulled down to overlay region in track nine, at the same time displays both regions overlapping each other.

I would like to see the disk allocation options updated so one can specify (per PT file) which drives to round robin to. Presently, it's all or none, except for the system drive.

- plugins on MIDI channels (transpose, quantize, apreggiator, transform, delay, audio-to-midi trigger etc...) fully automatable too.
- make the MIDI Operations window a floating one...and clean it up a bit; it's brutally sick to work with!
- text channelstrip that calculates from the bpm of a session: delay in ms and note duration, Hz in note duration etc...

Automatic turn aux into audio track for all those 1622 users who want to print midi tracks without making new audio tracks while keeping volume, pan etc.

A Color selector would be nice. Not just voices but everthing from regions to tracks.

I can make my lead vox Channel blue so I could find it quicker.

Hey man this is a very good one, I asked this Digidesign a long time ago and how about integrating Masterlist in Protools tdm?
A lotta prgrams have a burn software inside.
-I was also thinking about a universal synth editor inside and a band in a box like feature. I know you will say I'm crazy but I'm just a freak.
