Default Export issues

Hello,

I am using a mac mini, late 2012 with 8GB of ram, hard drive lacie quadra 1TB. No sound card so using the build out one.

Was working on a session the other night, with the amount of treatment on each tracks, the cpu was overloaded.

I have tried to bounce every busses( Inst/Lead Voc/BG Voc/Drums).

Doing that, Going on another session to pre master, no way to sync the tracks correctly as there was a delay, and not the same on each tracks, is it possible that the issue comes from the fact that I am using no sound card?

Try Spotting the files in the new session (Spot mode, Grabber tool) If you didn't bounce from the same time for each, this will put them where they belong.

Did you have delay compensation on in the original session?

Playback engine shouldn't have anything to do with this.

This is the likely bottleneck as opposed to RAM or an SSD, although beefing those up never hurts.

Do you have a friend that has a more powerful computer that you could test a session on? Something with a quad core i7. Would be good to see an improvement before you spend any money.

well I cannot do that, but I was questionning on boosting it or replace it with a better one like going for an iMac or MacBook pro...
