Trying to get my Control 24 and my apollo 16 mk2 to communicate
So I recently bought a used control 24 with the focusrite pres on board. I'm currently trying to get it to communicate with my apollo 16 mk2 so that i can track with it. is there something that i should know? any internal setting on the control 24 or apollo that i need to alter to get it into record mode? as i cannot get the signal from pres into my soundcard. HEEELLLPPPPP

Connect DB25 cables from the Control24 preamp outputs, and patch those to the line inputs on the Apollo. I would also search Google for a PDF manual for the Control24 as it has a lot of features that you should learn(especially how to set it up)

those are not the Focusrite Pres you thinking of
and there is no communication between the 2 just raw audio pump up and dump off to

 While the guys are having fun, you might be unaware. The Focusrite preamps on the Control24 are based on the Platinum series(made in China) and are not considered to be very good. If that's all you have, they will certainly work, but you will want to get a couple of really good preamps for the "money" channelshe can go about his business......
