Advanced Musical https://advancedmusical.com/ in LA will repair for a flat fee; they have a plan where they charge a deposit, send you a new/refurbed supply in advance, you put it in and send them the broken one and they refund the deposit minus their repair fee - done. Last time I checked it was $150.

Thank you Rich,

My fingers are crossed, I've emailed the team at Advance Musical, from what you mentioned this seems like a good option. I do need to have a better back plan.

Thanks again,
Lou

Hello team at Avanti,

Thank you so much for your replay and I will follow up if any of my others options do not pan out of over the next few days.

Can you provide insight to cost of a new/used unit shipped to Atlanta GA?

Thank you again for all the support

Hi,

Avanti based in the UK repair and refurbish your existing power supplies. For most any Avid equipment, just email and ask for a quote.

I'm just about to send the 3 from my spare D command. my logic PSU definitily needs repair but sending the other 2 (Faders and Led) as well to get them all checked over.

To me, it just makes sense to spend the $100 on the whole new supply. I'm a producer not an electrician. Not going to spend what I spent on this board and then try to be Mr. Fix it while a client waits; this isn't an iPhone setting. Makes no sense to me to be that cheap. Buy some extra power supplies for the LEDs, main board and faders and have them handy; these board are out of warranty. Why wait for a failure you already know is coming. .

Happy Holidays

Hi,

They might be $100 in the US but in Europe they are close to €200/£200 each

That’s £600 in spares sitting around just in case. Then do you keep spare logic boards fader boards etc! Can get expensive keeping spares on hand.

Saying that I have a spare D command main unit :)

Hi Rob, I am about to order the same SNP-Z10B Led PSU you bought.

I did noticed that the output of the original PSU of the D-Command has 6 pins and the one you bought has 10 pins.
do you remember which pins did you have to skip when you installed them?
see picture below :

Thanks a lot
