Re: Elastic Audio keeps crashing Pro Tools
FWIW, I have also had freezing with EA(and on a completely different setup). For me, it only happens during playback. I can go thru and move WARP markers from one end of a track to the other as long as I don't hit play. I duplicate the playlist and consolidate(so I am working on a new audio file) and hit SAVE constantly. As long as I don't hit play, I can finish a track and commit, and all is well(but its a leap of faith to EA a track without hearing the edits). Sometimes I will do what fits on the screen, commit and check

Re: Elastic Audio keeps crashing Pro Tools
Yes I'm sorry, I don't think I said in this thread that it only happens during playback (or record). That's why I said I've also been rendering edits without listening to them. I used to do all sorts of EA edits whilst recording, playing, you name it - back in PT9. But now I have to wait for everything else to be stopped to do them. It's slowing me down a whole lot. Even worse with a TDM system you have to restart the damn thing each time to avoid the grey curtain.
