Wave-form timeline out of sync with actual sound
Symptoms:
Highlight a section of the WAV file where there are no sound waves (flat silent audio). Press play. Hear a guitar playing! The track is on solo. So it's obviously the track misaligned with the display.

Or you could have a Solo Safe enabled on another guitar track.
