I am assuming that the fix will be released with a next version of Pro Tools 11. Is this the case?

I understand the fix is 'done', but it would be nice to know if we are talking this week, next week, this month, next month - or sometime in 2014 ?
I think that regarding the fact that we waited for around 6 months now to receive no, even approximate, date of realase for the fix, it is safe to assume that we can positively hope for a fix for the Pro Tools 11 beta 2 release, that is said on good authority. Or maybe Pro Tools 12.1 second quarter of 2014! Yay!

Why do you have to be so pessimists guys, you heard the man, it takes time and we are not a priority !

It is simply hilarious how dumb this situation is.

I also purchased the Roland Octa Capture, and after reading these posts, believe it is in my best interest to move on to another DAW. Avid / Pro Tools had failed to remedy this in a timely manner and doubt that they will. I am glad I did not upgrade to Pro Tools 11. I was looking forward to using Pro Tools 11 though. However I was also tired of Avid and their give me your money attitude, you want anything accomplished with Avid / Pro Tools its give me your money and we will look into it. The Avid lion has fallen from king of the DAW's in my eyes and will continue to die a slow death. You have to take care of all your customers, not a select few.

Don't hesitate if you can. Honestly, the only thing that makes me stay to pro tools is because I have the student upgrade eligibility. Especially if you work freelance like me. DP, Nuendo, Reaper are the ones I got my eyes on for when the student upgrade will end especially if there is not some political changes from avid. I'm so sick of all this.
Edit: You know there is something wrong going on with a company when they can spend thousands of $ for a commercial where celebrities do "oooh, amazing, woow, aaah, awesome" for 1 minute like the one for PT11 and it is for the consumer to pay to get some kind of support.

Bharath, do you have any updates for us on when the fix will be released, or at least a timeframe?

We are having the same problem with the Roland DUO-CAPTURE EX.

We have over 30 computers running PT11.0.2 with the DUO-CAPTURE and the only way we can get them working at the moment is ASIO4ALL!

Any news on the update?

It's the entire Roland Capture series that has this problem. But only in windows, from what I have read.

Supposedly Avid has a fix, but has not released it. Maybe in the next bug update for PT11. But they have not said anything about a timeline...I'm guess second quarter 2014...

So here we are still waiting for the fix to be released. 11.03 for mac is out to sort out the Mavericks situation (within a few weeks!!) but we are still not important enough to receive a fix that has been completed, that renders us completely inoperable. I am so insulted by this that I have switched to Logic X. It is absolutely rock solid on my Hackintosh and I am about to swap out my crate to allow me to work on it as my primary system. So Avid, you can stick your fix where the sun don't shine, I will not be upgrading or taking Pro Tools any further. I will also warn anyone who cares to ask my opinion to avoid Avid Pro Tools like the plague. I am now seeking a refund on the basis the product is not fit for the purpose for which it was sold.

The Sale of Goods Act 1979 (UK as amended) states that goods should be:

Fit for the purpose made known to the trader - Goods must be fit for their general purpose and any particular purpose that a consumer makes known to the trader at the time of purchase .

Anyone had a try in 11.1 yet? Changelog mentions nothing:
