Roland Octa-Capture crashes (PT 11 - Win 7 /64-bit )

I did contact Roland... Nothing was said more than previously said as they are contacting Roland Japan...

To contact Avid, I don't know how to do it without having to buy a ticket...

Yeah I have seen that, what is the point! Nearly every company in the world has free support! It is like take what you can and give nothing back in AVIDs case!

Nope, nothing from my local guy I have/had contact with. He forwarded everything I told him to the HQ (basicly what this thread is about).

I talked to a customer of mine who was having this exact same issue only with his V700R interface. He told me he only has this issue when his audio interface is turned on before his computer is fully booted. This might not work for the Octa but I thought I'd mention it. So just try turning the Octa on after the computer is fully booted..

I always turn my Quad capture on when my computer is fully booted, the problem happens every time, without fail, does anyone actually know what a runtime error actually is? I tried searching on Google but I couldn't make much sense out of it.

This is getting ridicilous.. over a month has gone..

I picked up a NI Audio 2 interface (4 outputs), just so I can do dialouge editing with some basic stereo atmosphere. And Yeah, I know I can still run 10.3.6 fully working, but version 11 is much nicer

Yeah it is getting annoying now, yeah you can use ASIO4ALL but it has quite a bit of latency and it just generally [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep], I don't want to buy another interface because I like my Roland and I had to go through 2 other interfaces before finding one that worked with PT10 and stumbled on the Roland by accident, god knows how long it would take to find an interface as good as the Roland to work with PT11!
