Changing Patches on Effect in ProTools (?)
So I have a Lexicon PCM-81 which is a multi effects unit with AES in/out.
I have the unit hooked up to the AES of one of my 192s and use it in ProTools with no problems. The thing is I have to manually change the presets, etc... on the front of the unit. I remember years ago that Studio Vision used to let you change patches via MIDI. I can't figure out how to do this in ProTools. I have a synth (K-2600) and can do program changes on that, see all the names, etc... on the MIDI channel but can't figure out how to do this for an effects unit. Does anyone know if this is possible and/or how to set it up?
