Default Re: Cedar C-vox vs VoiceX - difference?

I’m running Clear on two DX busses in real time. It pushes the limits of my 5.1 Mac Pro, so I’ll run it in eco mode. On my i7 Mac mini I can run more instances without issue.

Working on “lifestyle” HGTV types of show for the most part.

I'm going to do a test myself but interested to hear other peoples feelings.
I’ve found both Clear and Hush AI yield very similar results. Where Hush excels is in preserving breaths. Hush also has a version that will split the removed noise onto a separate track so you can have that flexibility.

I demo’d Cedar, I own Hush, Clear (Goyo), DxRevive, Waves Clarity Vx Pro, IZotope 10, etc. Hush and iZotope are the only things I end up using

I am finally demoing VoicEX on some documentary with very wide spectrum of noise.
Unfortunately IMHO VoicEX is the looser within the competition of Clear, DXRevive Pro and Acon Extract Dialogue. I am afraid that even iZotope Dialogue Isolate works better than VoicEX (and I don't use it at all anymore).
The VoicEX might be useful on very subtle noise reduction strength, which is often not enough to bring the character to focus (film style). Clear makes it with ease even when pushed quite harder, it's much faster (I use it only as AudioSuite), has optional reverb removal control and has a one button press background separation.

Totally agree with you there. I think Hush does slightly nose ahead against Clear, but the price difference is enormous and Hush will barely run on my Mac Pro 2019 because it's optimised for Apple Silicon.
I think we'll see more of that as time goes on I suspect these AI processes will run better on M1 M2 M3 because of the specific cores they can use which aren't on Intel chips.

In other news it looks like Accentize have done what I asked for in DX Revive without me even asking. Awesome!

Well Hush won't let you buy it. CAn't even see the price.

404 error when I click buy. that is concerning. If they can't maintain their web page, are they going to maintain the plug in.

Works here. Goes through a Lemonsqueezy commerce page. Currently $249.

I believe it's just a single developer so I'd cut them some slack on something like this.

Yeah. you are right. Slack given.

It worked on my phone but not my desktop. I might try it out but already put out for Revive Pro.
I like Clear, but wish they would resize the GUI. Its just too big for what it does. It could be 1/3rd the size.
Revive Pro resizes which is nice.

Hush only works on Silicon Macs so maybe that’s what’s giving problems if you’re on a non-silicon Mac?
